Lillith cleans off her knife from the nights debaucherous activities. The water that splashes around in her steel kitchen sink is tinged pink and smells like iron. She hears the sound of ambulances and police cars in the distance. Soon, she also hears a notification bell from her phone, laying on the nearby counter.
[[Lillith checks her phone-> checks]]
[[Lillith ignores her phone-> ignores]]An unknown number sent a text to her phone. The texts reads, "What your doing won't always be a secret. All things hidden must come to light." Lillith rolled her eyes, this being the third text message she'd gotten this week. She doesn't take stalking lightly; but she isn't sure whether answering would change this person's mind.
[[Lillith answers-> answer]]
[[Lillith deletes message and blocks call-> blocked]]As Lillith tries to find busy work and avoid her phone, it keeps going off. //Ding, ding, ding//
As she was mopping her reflective tile floors, the person tried to rech her by calling. Lillith just wanted to throw something or break a window; you know; violent urges of a 'maniac'.
Lillith checks her phone. "What you're doing won't always be a secret. All things hidden must come to light. Just confess, and //pray// that you'll be forgiven." Lillith was bemused by the series of messages before her. Confess? Pray?? Why would she want to do that? She can feel it; things are starting to get interesting.
She doesn't take stalking lightly; but she isn't sure whether answering would change this person's mind.
[[Lillith answers-> answer]]
[[Lillith deletes message and blocks call-> blocked]]"Listen," She starts typing into the message bar, "I don't believe in god. I don't believe in praying, and I have no one I want to confess to; nor anything to confess. You need psychiatric help. Find some."
She completely meant to sound passive aggressive. Sent quickly turned to Read seconds after she sent the message, but before the person could answer, she blocked the number.
//Good riddence.//
She sighed.
[[The next morning.->morning]]Lillith has neither the time, nor patience to deal with this right now. Avoiding everyone else finding out is tiring enough. She blocked the unknown number and trids to keep it off of her mind for the rest of the night. She made sure her door was locked and curtains were drawn.
[[The next morning.->morn]]Lillith awoke with a heavy sense of dread. Her chest rose and fell erratically; she could hear her heart beat thump against her eardrums. She couldn't move; her body was as heavy as lead, and she started to dose off again. As her head lazily lulled to the side, she saw a figure in the corner of her bedroom. Her heart and everything around her went dead silent as her eyes widened in fear. She hasn't felt this fear in many, //many// years.Her eyes close slowly as her vision start to distort and blur. Was she drugged?
[[She passes out.->pass]]Lillith woke up cold and alone. Where was she? She glanced around. Home. She felt secure, but that quickly changed as she remembered what happened what seemed like hours earlier. She got up and swayed a bit before falling to the ground; panting heavily. She felt immense pain all over her body, and started shaking and convulsing. Someone rushed to her side. Who was this..? She couldn't see; the pain blinded her. She wasn't sure where it came from; she wasn't injured when she woke up. She felt someone lift her, someone large. Who..?
[[...->hospital]]"Why the //**fuck**// are you here??" Lillith could usually hold her composure but he always managed to piss her off. His name was Nathaniel. She couldn't care less about his last name; boss or not. "The way you talk to the person who can fire you is ever respectful, Lillith." His smug look did nothing but anger her further. "You would never fire me; I've solved more cases than-" His smug look turned cold as he interrupted her. "I could fire you anytime I wanted to. Whether your a good worker or not only matters to me if your attitude isn't god awful. She rolled her eyes and set them on her heart rate monitor. If she wan't hooked up for so much hospital machinery, a good jab in the jaw would've served him right.
[[Lillith kicks him out->kicked]]"Get out of my room. Thanks." Lillith was over the whole situation. She wants less than nothing to do with Nathaniel; He would do nothing but cause a wrinkle in her plan.
Lillith was released from the hospital the following day, and she was more irritated than ever. She wanted- no, she //needed// to catch a fix. She needed the scent of blood to fill her nostrils; the sound of screaming to fill her ears. She was addicted. Time for a hunt.
[[Lillith takes a nap.->nap]]
[[Lillith stays up and prepares for the big night.->woke]]The next morning, Lillith had someone banging at the door. //Bang, bang, bang.// The sound resonated throughout her apartment; she had no choice but to answer the door. "Who is it?!" Lillith practically screamed through the door. She was pissed. "Police. Open up!" She rolled her eyes and checked her peephole. Of course; it was her co-worker/boss; Nathaniel. She opened the door and glared at him, scowling as she asked, "Do you know what time it is?" "It's ten. On a Monday. Didn't you think that you should get dressed before answering the door?" He said in his normal stern voice. His light blue eyes penetrated hers, but she didn't feel the least bit threatened.

Lillith jumps out of her sleep to a phone call from.. Unknown. But it wasn't the same number as the person had before. Lillith picked up the phone. "Hello? Who is this?"
"Hello, my name is (print: $name)."(hidden:)|1)[ This character will be very important in the future.] I'm trying to reach someone named... Lillith Elliot?" The voice said. "What is your business with her?"
"That is information I can only share with her. Do you know where she is?"(print: $name) stated matter-of-factly.
"This is someone who lives with her, she cannot be reached right now, but I can pass a message."
"Tell her to call me back at this number whenever she can."
"Fine." Lillith hung up and sighed, any good mood she could possibly had being soiled within the first few minutes of her waking up from an amazing nap. Something about that call was strange. Perhaps it really was important.

[[Lillith heads to a diner after a shower. ->diner]]After a shower, Lillith set her favorite knife out and sighed, momentarily wondering what other, normal people were doing at this hour. Nothing she would ever do. She's not normal; never will be. Not after-
No.
She suppressed the memories that threatened to resurface. //'they'll never touch us again.'// She silently muttered to herself for minutes that seemed to stretch into hours. She sighed and took some ibuprofen for the dull ache in her body. She guzzled down some water and sighed, pulling on fresh clothes and heading out.
[[Lillith heads to a public park.->park]]The park is a place where no one really notices a disapperance. Not until its too late anyways. Lillith approached a tall, tanned and lean man working out. Target selected. Now to bait. "Hey good looking." The guy immediately turned towards her and smiled. She chatted him up easily, mentally thanking herself for her gift of gab. After light coaxing he took her to his apartment 'for drinks.'As much as she hated it, she needed a plan on getting back out and creating an alibi to ease suspision when the time came. From the looks of it, however, the security cameras in his building were older than sin despite the renovations; it was best for her to just keep her head down and her hair tucked into the hoody she had over her head. As they ascended to his floor he questioned her about her weird behavior. "Me? I'm fine; these lights are a bit bright, don't you think? My head hurts a bit." Lillith giggled and hid her true intention perfectly.
[[Lillith goes to the stranger's apartment.->strange]]This strangers house was particularly clean. OCD, maybe? Either way, since the guy closed the door, his behavior had been particulary... //erratic//. He was moving from one part of his apartment to another like a madman; like he was looking for... well, something. He gave her a glass with a dark brown colored liquid; It smelled like whiskey. After examining it she drank it and the night moved on.
After a half hour or so Lillith began to feel weak. She wasn't sure whether it was because of him drugging her or whatever had illness plagued her previously. Either way; she had to leave. But she couldn't lift her arm up; let alone get up and leave. The stranger- his name was 'Ryan'- Was getting up out of his chair with a grin- Brandishing a... //Knife?//
Lillith's last thought was about her mother. Interesting.
[[BAD END->Start]]At the diner, Lillith ordered a burger and scoped out the patrons of the diner and sipped her water. There was a big, tattooed and muscular man sitting at the counter some few rows beside her. He'd probably put up a fight. There were a few other people in there; a skinny pale woman with large, brown doll-like eyes and thin, cracked lips. She was shaking like she was on... something. A man in a suit crossed the diner and ordered a coffee, taking a laptop out and opening it in front of him. Typical.

[[Lillith targets the Business man. ->business]]Lillith approched the heavily inked man. He was drunk, she could tell immediately. He was friendly, and pretty exited to talk to her. She got him the leave with her, but as soon as they were in his car, he started waving a gun in her face. The trigger was pulled in a struggle for it.
[[BAD END->Start]]"Hey." Lillith put on her best 'don't fear me' face, slowly approaching the woman. The woman looked at her with a cautious glare and squinted, "What are you, a blue collar?" What? "What? No, I'm not." Lillith laughed it off and sat next to the woman, "I just wanted someone to talk to, you know?"
"No, I don't know. I'm not 'ere lookin' fer company. Goodbye." Lillith got up and sighed, checking out her remaining options.

"Who are you and what do you want?" Lillith hadn't even sat down, and the man hadn't even glanced at her. "How cold." She giggled and sat down," My name is Karen, I just wanted to chat." He sighed and looked up at her in annoyance until he focused on her face. She didn't ignore his either. He was attractive, but he looked like a family man. He had a white gold wedding band on. She sighed and put on a charm, ultimately luring him into taking her home with him. Her smile was coy and she acted as she wasn't about to do what she was going to do. The business man lived in a suburban-like home with a beautiful garden and white picket fence. Lillith grimaced in disgust but hid it from the man. He wasn't any the wiser.
[[...->in the s.home]]There were pictures of the man's family all over the house, he was smiling in all of them. There was a wall of trophies in the living room, which disgusted Lillith beyond belief. Fucking pig. She'd have fun skinning him; but not yet. The windows in the living room were wide open. It'd be a... less than smart move to kill him here and now. She was led upstairs, where a sword hung on the wall of the hallway. Great. She put the gloves in her pocket on and grabbed it, attcking the man from before silently and swiftly. The man quickly dodged and grabbed at the hilt of the sword in Lillith's hand; throwing insults at her all the while. She made jabs at him, cutting him in non fatal areas. He grabbed the sword and jabbed at her. Lillith dodged.
But she was too slow.
