Leonardo Hamato <img src="https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/thumb/7/7e/LeonardoROTTMNTMov.jpg/294px-LeonardoROTTMNTMov.jpg" width="400" height="300" alt="leo"> honorable nick names: -Neon Leon -Bluey -Green(If this name doesn't make you gasp in fear, then are you really a real rise fan?/j) -Blue Leo is a 16 year old(As of the movie) mutant red eared slider, Who considers himself the 'face man' of the team. His weapons were portal-generating ōdachi, but now they are twin katana, after the events of the movie. Leo seems to be full of himself, constantly chattering about how great he is, and always joking around with one-liners that he believes "fire up the team" (the said team can agree otherwise). Leo is kind of lazy, which can be both negative and positive because it means he'd rather mess around or do nothing instead of training his skills as a ninja. However, it also means Leo can figure out unique ways out of a problem, but sometimes these solutions do NOT work lol. Anyways Leo is a pretty cool character, with his own issues aswell. Leo craves validation from his brothers, and because of Leo's slip-ups (there are many/ref), his brothers almost NEVER give him that. This leads to Leo having very low self esteem, and makes him seem full of himself because he brings himself up as a way to look strong and to feel better about himself. As seen in episode 17a of season 1 "Portal Jacked", Leo loses his brothers after a portal malfunction with his swords that sent them somewhere different than where he was sent. in this episode Leo states that he is nothing without his brothers, and that he's useless since he's just the 'face man' of the group. He is also very immature which definitely puts him in a bad spot in the movie, where he has to stop the Kraang from taking over the world, and technically, it is his fault they are able to start taking over the world. Even worse for himself, in the season 2 finale, Splinter abruptely names Leo the new leader of the team, taking the role off of Raph, but because of how immature and eager to feel and be seen in a great light Leo is, Raph constantly takes the role of leader many times in combat. go watch rise on NETFLIX, PARAMOUNT +, or..other...places on the web..

Raphael Hamato <img src="https://wegotthiscovered.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/08/Rise-of-the-Teenage-Mutant-Ninja-Turtles-Raphael.jpg" width="500" height="300" alt="raph"> Honorable Nicknames: -Raph-a-doodle -Raph-a-roni -Red King -Raph-a-la -Boss man Raph is a 17 year old (as of the movie) alligator snapping turtle. He is the former leader of the teenage mutant ninja turtles, or how he likes to call his team, the Mad Dogs. Raph formerly used mystic energy-generating tonfā, but now uses two sai as of the movie(i believe). Raph is the leader of the teenage mutant ninja turtles throughout the series, having to take control of his team when they mess up, and basically everything a leader does. However, Raph isn't so good at making plans as much as he is good at punching things, which he oftens resorts to when he has no plan of attack for missions. Raph has trouble admitting to being wrong, and sometimes does take credit for his brothers ideas, as seen in season one, episode 3b "newsworthy", when he takes credit for Donnies idea. As I said, Raph keep control of his brothers, not letting them get into chaos too often, or failure, especially when the NEW leader, Leo, fails to. In the movie, Something happens to Raph, leaving him unable to help his brothers, which leaves Leo as the leader, so in a way, Raph helps Leo become more responsible in his duty.

He is a descendant of the Hamato clan that defeat the shredder 500 years ago, and when he was young his mother had left him and his grandfather to keep shredder away once more. Years after, Splinters grandfather taught him ninjitsu, which he mastered, to defeat shredder in the future. However, the grief over his mother leaving caused Splinter to start to ignore his grandfathers lessons, and after a fight with his grandfather, Splinter decided to abandon his clan duties and follow his dream, to be a hollywood actor. He achieved his dream by becoming a actor for a famous character called Lou Jitsu. During a recording of one of his movies, he met a lady who he fell in love with. They hung out plenty, eventually got togetherd then Splinter proposed. This was when the lady transformed into a spider yokai, her name was Big Mama, and she kidnapped Splinter to have him fight in her famous Battle Nexus, where other yokai payed to watch Yokai, and other humans?- at least in Splinters case here, fight different monsters to the death. After a while, Splinter renounced his role as the battle nexus greatest champion, which angered Big Mama, so she locked him in a battle nexus cell. But Splinters fame caught the attention of Baron Draxum, a sheep yokai. Draxum sent his henchmen to help Splinter escape, and then used Splinters DNA to mutate four baby turtles into humanoid turtle babies. Splinter is very distant from his sons, as seen in the show, to the point where the turtles would go on an entire mission throughout the city to get a hug, but he gets better, so keep watching.
