At the Octavia Project, we know that the dreams we support today shape the world of tomorrow. For over a decade, we’ve used the power of creativity and community to give young women and trans and nonbinary youth in Brooklyn the space, tools, and connections to build toward better futures with free summer programming that blends creative writing, STEM, and much more.

With your support, we’ve expanded our programs to include both the Summer Camp for grades 6–8 and the Summer Institute for ages 14–19. We’ve seen our alums and participants flourish as artists, writers, filmmakers, creators, and changemakers, and we’ve celebrated the growth of the vibrant community that makes the Octavia Project possible.

We’re ready to do even more. As we look toward the future, we’re building our capacity so that we can start offering school-year programming that will reach more students and better serve our alums.

Can you help us create this future today?

We’re asking our community to help us raise $40,000 by March 28th. Make a gift today that will impact the next generation, and consider becoming a monthly or quarterly donor to support the work of dreaming big and imagining new possibilities the whole year through.
